Applications are now open for the position of protein NMR senior scientist at the Cancer Research UK Beatson Institute in Glasgow. This is a permanent position with excellent access to a Bruker NEO 600 with a cryo probe.
The role requires you to develop and use novel NMR & other biophysical assays to characterise protein ligand interactions, applying these to medicinal chemistry-driven projects at all stages from fragment-based hit identification through to lead optimisation. The quality data that you produce will be critical, helping teams form an understanding of both the mechanism of action of our molecules and the target biology.
Informal enquiries are welcome and should be addressed to Dr Justin Bower; j.bower@beatson.gla.ac.uk (Joint Head of Beatson Drug Discovery Unit).
